ARBRE Project
CTaT is the developer and aggregator working with dozens of smallholder farmers in the Appalachian Mountain ecoregion of Quebec to establish approximately 250 hectares of ARR in 2024 (Spring and Fall planting seasons) that estimated to sequester a net (after uncertainty and risk of reversal buffer contributions) 112,500 tons of CO2e over the 60- year crediting period of this grouped VCS ARR project. Average annual removals of the first annual 250 hectares cohort are 1,875 tCO2e/VCUs. CTaT plans to establish a total of 1000 hectares over a 5-year period starting in 2024.
